Kitchen hood motors

Original or compatible kitchen hood motors of various speeds.

A fundamental component of the kitchen hood, the motor generates the air flow capable of sucking up vapors, odors and grease particles. If your hood has reduced its suction capacity or emits abnormal noises, it may be necessary to replace the motor, clean the grease filters or replace the active carbon filters.

In our catalog you will find spare parts for all the main brands of kitchen hoods, such as Faber, Franke, Elica, Whirlpool, Bosch and many others.

Regular maintenance of the hood to preserve the engine

An efficient motor depends on proper maintenance of the hood. To prevent the motor from overworking or failing prematurely, it is essential to keep the grease filters clean.
This is because these metal filters are the first barrier that cooking fumes encounter and, if clogged, prevent the correct flow of air, forcing the motor to work harder and causing an increase in energy consumption, a reduction in performance and, in the worst case, overheating of the motor itself.

To ensure the correct functioning of the motor, clean the grease filters by hand or in the dishwasher every approximately 2-3 months (or more frequently, if you cook often) and check the motor for grease or dust residue. If you notice that the filters are too saturated, consider purchasing new ones.

If the hood continues to malfunction even after cleaning or replacing the filters, you may need to replace the motor with a new one.
