Long Life or regenerable charcoal filters:
Regeneration: every 6–12 months
Replacement: after 2–3 years, even for regenerable filters, as they lose effectiveness over time
Regeneration procedure:
Washing: wash the filter in the dishwasher at a maximum temperature of 70°C (158°F) or by hand with hot water, without using abrasive sponges or detergents.
Drying: dry the filter in the oven at a maximum temperature of 70°C (158°F) for 2 hours.
Reinstallation: ensure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling it in the hood.
Signs that indicate replacement is needed:
Reduced extraction efficiency
Persistent odors in the kitchen
Saturation or visible grease buildup
