1. Can I connect my hood to an external exhaust with a pipe and bends?

It depends. An effective connection should not exceed 6 meters (each bend is 1 meter). However, if the diameter of the exhaust pipe in the wall is less than 12 cm (e.g., 10 cm), the connection is not recommended: the hood would become noisy and inefficient.

2. How do I know which filter is compatible with my hood?
Open the hood and remove the grease filters. You'll find a label with the brand, model, and serial number. Send us a photo via email or WhatsApp: we'll tell you which replacement is the right one.

3. I can't find the data label. What should I do?
You can send us a photo of the hood and filters, preferably with the measurements (height, width) per side. We'll find the most suitable replacement.

4. Are activated carbon filters always necessary?
Only if the air isn't expelled outside. If the hood is connected to a duct that carries the air outside, metal grease filters are sufficient.

5. How often should activated carbon filters be replaced?
Disposable filters should be changed every 6-8 months. Long-life filters can be washed and last up to 3 years. High-performance filters offer higher filtration, but still need to be replaced every 6-8 months.

6. How does ordering from the site work?
Simply click on the product, then "Add to Cart" and follow the instructions until you reach payment. You can choose from several payment and shipping methods.

7. What payment methods do you accept?
Credit cards, bank transfer, cash on delivery, PayPal, Satispay.

8. How much does shipping cost?
Free if you choose delivery to a BRT Fermopoint. Home delivery costs €8.

9. How can I track my shipment?
You'll receive emails at every stage of your order, including a tracking link. Please also check your spam folder.

10. Can I return a product?
Yes. Pack the product in its original packaging, protect it adequately, and ship it to: Sintesi snc - Via del Lavoro, 14 - 31013 Cimavilla di Codognè (TV), Italy. Please include your name, surname, address, and order number on the package. If the product arrives damaged due to inadequate packaging, we will not be able to issue a refund.

11. Can I fit an engine other than the original one?
No. Even if the dimensions and connection appear compatible, the electrical connections and internal configurations may vary. You need the exact model to avoid damage.

12. Do I need a technician to replace the hood duct?
No, if you're handy you can do it yourself.

13. I have an induction hob: do I need a hood with an anti-condensation function?
Yes, especially in winter. Without the anti-condensation function, water drops form on the hood's surface.

14. Do metal filters also eliminate odors?
No. Metal filters trap grease. Activated carbon filters are needed to eliminate odors (only necessary for recirculating hoods).

15. I didn't receive the wiring diagram with the spare part. What should I do?
Some manufacturers don't offer it. We can help you find it if you send us your hood's complete information.

16. Can I order via WhatsApp?
No, the order must be placed through the website by following the guided procedure.

17. How do I find my order code?
You can find it in your order confirmation emails or in your account on the website.

18. How do I know if the filters displayed on the site are a set or individual?
