Description
ELICA KIT0120952A ceramic carbon filter kit, compatible with ELICA NIKOLATESLA extractor hobs and with AEG and ELECTROLUX appliances set up for the references indicated.

The filter system is designed to reduce up to 80% of unpleasant odors generated during cooking , helping to keep kitchen air cleaner.

The Long Life regenerable technology allows the filtering capacity to be periodically restored through heat treatment, reducing the need for frequent replacements.

The declared duration of up to 5 years , combined with the possibility of regeneration, makes this filter a suitable solution for the maintenance of compatible extractor hobs.

Long Life Ceramic Carbon Filter Maintenance
Activated carbon filters for hoods and cooktops must be changed or regenerated regularly to maintain their performance. The frequency depends on the use and conditions of the kitchen.

Regeneration frequency
Every 2-3 months , depending on frequency of use and intensity of cooking.

Regeneration procedure

1. Preparation: place the filters on a baking tray placed on the middle rack of the oven, avoiding direct contact with the bottom.

2. Temperature: set the oven to 200°C .

3. Duration: keep the filters in the oven for 45 minutes .

4. Cooling: Allow filters to cool completely before reusing them.

Duration and replacement
Declared shelf life: up to 5 years, respecting the regeneration instructions provided for the product.

Replacement may become necessary early if there is damage or a persistent loss of filtering effectiveness.

Signs that indicate the need for maintenance or replacement

• Reduction of filtering effectiveness.

• Persistence of odors in the kitchen.

• Visible fat saturation or accumulation.

Warning
The 45-minute heating process at 200°C is specific to the specified regenerable ceramic filter. It should not be used indiscriminately with other carbon filters. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions.
